Our fall service project with Bucks County Parks and Recreation is set for Saturday, November 14, back at Tohickon Valley Park where we worked last year. Please RSVP so we can give the county a headcount, and tell us if you can bring a shovel or a mini-sledgehammer.

Service Project
The afternoon comes in two parts. First we clear invasive species from the work area, which is the county’s biggest need, then we plant trees in the space we’ve cleared. The group is also looking at helping fund some of the trees; more on that once the county tells us how many are already covered.
What to Bring
Shovels and mini-sledgehammers are usually what we run short of, so please bring them if you have them, and note it on the RSVP.
- Shovels
- Mini-sledgehammer (3-5 lbs)
- Work gloves
- Loppers
- Water bottles
Good to Know
- Dress for outdoor work.
- Last year everyone signed waivers on site.
- Photos and details from last year’s tree planting
